Education should not be a luxury. In Namibia, basic school supplies place a considerable financial burden on many families. To ensure that every child has a fair chance at education, we are launching our Christmas Campaign 2025.

We help where support is needed most

In our projects, we see every day how essential assistance is. With this campaign, we aim to bring joy to the children who regularly visit our facilities:

  • Around 200 children at our soup kitchen at the Community Center Rundu
  • Around 50 children at Annette’s soup kitchen in Otjiwarongo
  • Around 50 children from the Mangomba Pre-Primary preschool project in Rundu with Franziska

These places offer the children more than meals and lessons. They provide valuable spaces for playing, laughing, and learning together.

Your contribution: A school starter gift set

With a donation of 10 €, you give a child a carefully assembled package filled with school supplies such as notebooks and pencils, along with a small personal surprise. Our partners on the ground tailor each package to the children’s needs.

Your contribution provides meaningful support for the school start in January and helps ease the financial burden on families.

Join us

Every transfer with the reference “Christmas Campaign” goes directly and entirely toward purchasing the gifts.

Last year, we were able to support 161 children. You can find impressions from last year here:

Thank you for your generous support. Our partners, our team, and especially the children are already looking forward to it.

Location

This is one of the places where the gifts go:

  • Otjiwarongo: A regional town with around 28,000 residents, located about 250 km from the capital, Windhoek. This is where Annette's soup kitchen provides warm meals, protection, and support to children from difficult backgrounds.
