In September 2026, we were delighted to welcome a new project to Conambiki: Home of the Arts, or “HOTA” for short! HOTA is a non-profit cultural and educational organization in Rundu dedicated to promoting art, culture and youth work. Its guiding principle is “Learn, Create, Market”.

We specifically support HOTA with its project “Multi-Disciplinary Arts and School Outreach: The Creative Sparks Project”. With this support, we are stabilizing two existing programmes for twelve months: an arts programme at two primary schools in Rundu and an open Arts Club for older young people.

The school programme is aimed at around 300 Grade 4 learners. The children regularly take part in sessions in music, visual art, dance and theatre. In addition, the Arts Club is open to older learners as well as young people outside the school system.

You can find out more about HOTA directly on the Home of the Arts website.
